We dispatch our Home Test Kits using Royal Mail Tracked 24 service (Monday to Friday). Orders before 2pm are organised and shipped out for next day delivery.

If you think you might miss the post and arrival of your order, there is an option when entering your address details to choose a SAFEPLACE for the postman to leave your kit at.

Home Test Kit - Returning Your Sample To The Laboratory

We want to make sure that we can support you in getting your sample to our laboratory safely, securely and most importantly, on time.

You have three main options:

1) Free Royal Mail Tracked 24 service
2) Self-arranged private courier
3) Drop off at the laboratory

Option 1: Royal Mail Tracked 24 service (already included for free)

All of our Covid-19 test kits include free Royal Mail Tracked 24 return labels to post your completed sample to our laboratory. Send your sealed test kit back using the original box the kit came in, making sure you only drop it in a letterbox marked with the words Priority Postbox. You can find your nearest Priority Postbox here.

When researching your nearest Royal Mail Priority Postbox, remember to consider the collection days and last collection times. Please bear in mind that in some areas, Royal Mail has limited or no service on Saturdays or Sundays, therefore do not expect returns to arrive at the laboratory within 24 hours when posting your kit back on a Saturday or Sunday.

Use the following information to help you understand the timings:

• Monday: Post well before "Last Collection" time for the best possible chance of the lab receiving your sample on Tuesday
• Tuesday: Post well before "Last Collection" time for the best possible chance of the lab receiving your sample on Wednesday
• Wednesday: Post well before "Last Collection" time for the best possible chance of the lab receiving your sample on Thursday
• Thursday: Post well before "Last Collection" time for the best possible chance of the lab receiving your sample on Friday
• Friday: Post well before "Last Collection" time for the best possible chance of the lab receiving your sample on Saturday
• Saturday: Post well before "Last Collection" time for the best possible chance of the lab receiving your sample on Monday***
• Sunday: Post well before "Last Collection" time for the best possible chance of the lab receiving your sample on Monday or Tuesday***

*** Royal Mail does not deliver on Sundays. If a sample was collected on a Saturday / Sunday this would most likely arrive at the nearest Royal Mail Depot and remain there until normal delivery resumes (sample will not be damaged). Your sample would most likely arrive at our laboratory on the following Monday or Tuesday depending on the post box collection times.

Please make a note of the tracking number that is shown on the returns label attached to the kit. It will also be copied on your "Thank You For Your Purchase" insert in the kit. Track your sample on the Royal Mail link here.

Option 2: Using a private courier to be arranged at your own expense

We recommend this option if you really need to return your sample over the weekend to receive your Covid-19 results on a specific date.

Please arrange the private courier to collect your sample and deliver it directly to our laboratory, at the following address:

Within 24 hours of receipt at the laboratory, your sample will be analysed and the results will be provided to you via SMS text and email, with a certificate.

Option 3: Drop your sample off personally at our laboratory

If you are close enough or are able to travel to our laboratory, please feel free to bring your completed and sealed sample (in the kit box provided) and drop it off, seven days a week, at the following address:

Within 24 hours of receipt at the laboratory, your sample will be analysed and the results will be provided to you via SMS text and email, with a certificate.

Disclaimer: If you choose to return your sample via a private courier, or make alternative arrangements, you agree to do so at your own discretion and possible extra cost. Please note we do not accept any liability for delayed results due to late or lost samples by any third party.
